Here’s a little inspiration for the future birth flower tattoo. I hope you prefer yours as much as I like mine!
January – Carnation
More than merely a “cheap flower” as some think if them, carnations are gorgeous, come in many different colours, and tattoo wonderfully.
February – Violet
A truly beautiful flower for those born in February!
March – Daffodil
Daffodils mark the beginning of Spring, and their bright colours make anyone’s day a whole lot better. March babies, that is for you!
April – Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea flowers are so delicate they are perfect for a watercolour design like this one!
May – Lily of the Valley
Lily of the Valley, oh you beautiful flower. Not difficult for anyone to have, also it looks stunning alone (above) or bunched together (below).
June – Honeysuckle
June gets Honeysuckle and Rose as its birth flower. There’s about a zillion rose tattoos that we’ve all seen before but we included one anyways. Are you aware that Honeysuckle- imagine all of the colour combinations you can fill those with!
July – Water Lily
Congrats, July babies, you have my favourite birth flower- the Water Lily! Whether they are coloured or simply outlined, they are certainly the coolest of the cool.
August – Poppy
The bright red of the Poppy helps it be wonderful for any tattoo. Simplistic or elaborate, either way the poppy is a winner!
September – Morning Glory
Morning Glories are perfect for anywhere on the body because they are so simplistic, yet their colours make a statement.
October – Marigold
Also known as calendula, the marigold is that brightly coloured flower you see on people’s shoulders or forearm that stand out like no other!
November – Chrysanthemum
No stranger to the tattoo realm, mums are fantastic when you want to include a splash of colour to your world!
December – Narcissus
There are countless styles you could pick from with this flower, so go crazy!
